We at Charles Ferguson Solicitors we are proud of our roots. Over the past four decades we have provided legal assistance and advise to those who qualify for legal aid. In light of the Legal Aid system in Scotland in the 21st century, we now act on a legal aid basis solely for clients who are in receipt of state benefits and are unemployed. This ensures our commitment to represent those who are particularly vulnerable in society.

If you are in employment we are prepared to act for you on a solely privately funded basis, we are happy to accept payment by instalments/all major credit/debit cards or bank transfer.

Many serious criminal and road traffic cases attract Legal Aid cover. Unlike other law firms we will not charge you an hourly rate. If you were to be charged at an hourly rate the costs would be significantly higher.
